Here are a few tips on how to pray for someone else’s healing

When you are praying for someone else’s healing, it is important to remember that God is the ultimate Healer and that He knows what is best for His children. With that in mind, here are a few tips to keep in mind:

  • First, pray for God’s will to be done. This may seem like an obvious point, but it is worth repeating. Ultimately, we want God’s will to be done in the life of the person we are praying for, even if that means they do not recover from their illness in this life.
  • Second, pray for strength and courage for the person who is ill. Healing can be a long and difficult process, both physically and emotionally. Praying for strength and courage will help them to get through each day.
  • Third, pray for the medical team who is treating the person. They need wisdom and guidance as they care for their patient.
  • Finally, pray for God’s peace to be with the person who is ill. We all need God’s peace in our lives, but it is especially important when we are going through a difficult time. Praying for God’s peace will help the person to feel His presence even in the midst of their illness.
