What is spiritual maturity?

Spiritual maturity is the process by which we become more like Jesus Christ. It is the very mission of this website to help you achieve spiritual maturity.

How can I know I am maturing spiritually?

There are 9 characteristics believers will display when they begin to spiritually mature. Sometimes they come in pairs, but some experience these slowly and over a long period of time. A spiritually mature person will exhibit all 9 of these characteristics.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Every Christian should always be working toward a more spiritually mature life. Prayer, fasting, studying the Word, serving others, and surrendering your will to God are how the Holy Spirit will begin to achieve spiritual maturity in you. Once you experience these things, the Holy Spirit will produce the fruit of the spirit in you.
